Ugly Lights is the first collaborative effort of the independent film group Monkey Do Productions. Produced on a shoestring budget of next to zero dollars and shot over a mere three days, Ugly Lights tells the story of a couple of groups of friends on their last night out before leaving for school in the fall. As their stories drift in and out of one another, relationships and friendships are tested with characters ultimatly seeing each other for what they are as the lights fade up after last call.
